Cyber security at Bakker Goedhart
When the computers are down, everything is down. And as the largest baker in the Netherlands, we naturally want to prevent that at all costs. Because if we are unable to process our customers' orders, there is no bread in the supermarkets, no pastries on the shelves and there are no sandwiches at the gas station. That's why cybersecurity is high on our agenda. Our ICT department regularly provides training on this subject and employees are constantly tested via special “phishing emails”.

Special meeting
In June, there was another meeting at Bakker Goedhart in Hedel. The head of ICT, Harold Tabbert, gave presentations about Cybersecurity with Adri Kerstens and explained what we all do to keep our organization as safe as possible when it comes to ICT.
Serious game
After this presentation, it was time for some serious gaming: through the game “Take Back Control”, all employees were able to discover the importance of good cyber security for themselves. 'Take back control' is a kind of escape room in a box, where you and your team have to stop a hacker within an hour. In addition, you will face various cyber challenges.
Enthusiastic participants
The participants were divided into 10 groups, each group received a box. The LeisureTeam hosts visited all groups to see if they were stuck and helped them get back on their feet if necessary. But our colleagues were extremely driven and therefore little assistance was needed. Everyone found the game fun and educational. So a great success!
