IFS Food 8 certificate for Bakker Goedhart
The IFS Food Standard is a rigorous, internationally recognized standard for assessing food safety, product quality, and legal compliance within food processing companies. All Goedhart bakeries hold IFS Food 8 certification, which is reassessed annually. Our products and production processes have been audited by an external party to verify our ability to produce safe, authentic, and high-quality products in accordance with legal requirements and customer specifications.
We ensure food safety, top quality, and convenience through complete supply chain transparency, allowing customers to make informed choices. To guarantee this, Bakker Goedhart has implemented a quality management system based on HACCP guidelines and recognized food safety standards such as BRC, IFS, and GMP+. All our bakeries hold an IFS Food 8 certificate with excellent scores, and the Goedhart Brood & Specialiteiten service office now holds an IFS Broker certificate.
Procurement well-managed
This involves examining our procurement methods, specifically the approval of suppliers and the management of raw material hazards. Everything was found to be in good order, largely due to our systematic approach and our knowledge of the supply chain. A transparent supply chain is a key quality feature of our policy. This responsibility extends all the way to the miller.
Data in focus
Data management, recipes, and specifications are also scrutinized for certification. Accurate data is essential for effectively managing the production process and providing customers with the necessary information. Here, too, all requested data proved to be available. For example, all processed raw materials are traceable, and our quality department provides our customers with detailed information regarding product origin and quality. Even our management, logistics, customer service, product development, and sales departments were audited—and passed with flying colors.
